Santiago is an awesome city. The people are wonderful and there are so many great restaurants. The metro system is the best in South America - clean efficient and safe. I would recommend la Biferia for excellent wine and steak, and la giratorio for something a little bit gimmicky but also awesome.

Interesting city with easy access metro system.
Interesting city with easy access metro system. Highlights included San Cristobal Hill for the view and the main square. Due to the issues with pickpockets and street crime, it does require being hypervigilant with your valuables. We were touring the area around the Central Market when a local man approached us (2 women) and warned us that we were not safe in that area and needed to leave. Uber was the best way to get around and very cheap.

I had my necklace grabbed off my neck in the middle of the day near the main square. Very high crime rate. I did not feel safe walking around even during the day and came home straight after dinner each night. We liked Lastarria district at night for dinner. Sommelier Hotel rooftop bar was great although very heavy smokers everywhere.

I was very overwhelmed (in a good way) by the vibrancy of the city. It was very clean, safe, with nice people and great weather. I had no idea what to expect but I am already thinking about when I can return!

Great city to visit surrounded by magnificent mountains.
Great city to visit surrounded by magnificent mountains. The funicular, garden on top of San Cristobal Hill, teleferico, various shopping areas can be easily accessed with hop on/hop off bus.
Did not like Santiago Airport. Not because it is big, but because comfort of passengers was not considered as its first priority when designed.

I remember when I first visited 9 years ago it seemed like a much more new, vibrant city. Might have been my younger self rather than the city but the city felt very old (not in the cool, good way) when we went this time. The pre-Colombian museum is a must visit, but other than that I wouldn’t really go back. The food scene was okay too, aside from some great spots. Other international cities I’ve been to have left me overwhelmed with options, this city did not. Also, we really wanted to take a wine tour but the prices were insanely expensive to go just an hour outside the city and operators I contacted were not responsive.
Rooms are large, beds very comfortable. Staff excellent. I left my laptop in the room and didn't realize until I was through security at the airport. Rang the hotel and they found it in the room. Then their receptionist Diago immediately bought it to the airport and arranged for it to be brought to me in the business class lounge. Cannot thank the staff enough for their efforts to get the laptop to me.
They have a shuttle bus running all the time between airport and hotel
A great service.
The location of the hotel was excellent for exploring Barrio Italia, Bella Vista, Providencía, and Lastarria. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and capable. Breakfast had a variety of options, and all fruits and juices were fresh. The outdoor roof space had a good vibe, the afternoon/evening bar enjoyable, and restaurant food tasty. The pool is simply a dip in and cool off space, waist high, approx. 5x12, no swimming. Nice views of Cerro San Cristobal and the park.
The best thing about this hotel is it's location - in a really nice safe area close to lots of restaurants and shops, but down a side street so it was quiet at night. My room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. The staff were lovely and helped with the problems in my room, and got me a taxi to the airport.
Breakfast was fine - a reasonable continental selection but let down by the lack of non-dairy milk, which is pretty standard everywhere nowadays.
Boutique hotel in a nice part of Santiago. quite small room with a very large bed! An old(?19century)building with some charm.Bathrooms could use some updating. There is no lift but they stored our large bags downstairs. the area is pleasant with lots of restaurants in easy walking distance and near the metro stop. Breakfast not provided but kitchenette and tea and coffee downstairs so you can provide your own breakfast. lots of nice coffee shops nearby
Spacious , super clean room with large windows giving lots of light. Very comfortable bed.
Nice welcome from efficient reception staff.
Water dispenser was useful and 2 bottles of water on arrival. Breakfast had a range of food and fruit. Room cleaned daily.
The hotel got us a taxi that was far cheaper than on line prices and on time.
Some good restaurants nearby and clean area of Santiago.
Everything was great and I will book it again..
The customer-facing hotel staff was the best part of this hotel experience. They had excellent recommendations on food and buying souvenirs, and partner with friendly, professional airport taxi drivers, all with great English language. We felt like we were in good hands on our vacation. The location is also a large plus next to the Lastarria restaurant district, Santa Lucia park, and Plaza de Armas with all the pedestrian paseos.
The Hotel provided a free shuttle service to and from Santiago airport. The driver waited for us past the scheduled time of our arrival because we were slow getting our luggage... a great service.
The hotel was a 10 minute drive from the airport.
All staff members were helpful and polite.
We had an accessible room which was very spacious and there was plenty of room for my wheelchair.
Excellent boutique hotel in the centre of Santiago, loads of restaurants & coffee shops in walking distance to Lastarria. Welcoming team & efficient check in. Small well appointed super clean room & comfortable bed. Coffee pod machine a bonus & balcony looking over the park. Great breakfast options. Rooftop pool with views up to San Cristobal Hill. Highly recommend this hotel!
This hotel is INCREDIBLE! The rooms, lounge areas and view from the rooftop lounge is OUTSTANDING! The hotel is decorated with the style of Valparaiso in mind. The staff is very kind and all spoke English. The breakfast is PLENTIFUL and DELICIOUS!
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed and I have stayed in a lot of hotels.
Great location in the heart of Lastarria - there are great restaurants & bars literally 50m away like Chipe Libre and Bocanariz (best wine bar in Santiago). Friendly staff and good view from the rooftop. Go for a drink at the Singular hotel bar next door for a stunning view.
Very nice breakfast.
This boutique hotel is an oasis in Santiago. We enjoyed being in the buzz of the Bellavista area and the fact that when we returned through the hotel gates it brought calm and peace. The decor is amazing and the pool area was fantastic it would definitely be one we would return to.
I never stay in 5 star hotels but the Hotel Magnolia was so worth it. Everything including the rooftop restaurant was exceptional. Very helpful staff. Loved the room, amenities.
Wonderful hotel in the best area of Santiago! lots of restaurants near by.
Suite very spacious and clean. bed super comfy, everything was brilliant. really nice rooftop bar!
Excellent value for a decent Best Western. Twins beds were wider than at other hotels. Breakfast was more than adequate. Subway station is very close. Easy to get downtown.
For me, the best was the location. I had meeting at ECLAC, that it's so close to the hotel. Also, the restaurant at the 9th floor was excellent, the food and the view!
Convenient location next to the airport if you have an early flight or arrive late at Santiago.
Hotel is confortable and clean. Shuttle service to and from the airport.
